Game Overview - Welcome to the Dungeon
Welcome to the Dungeon (2013 by IELLO Games, 2-4 players 10+, 30 minute playtime) was one of the first games we added to the collection when we started getting into board games. I had never played a game with a push your luck mechanic and so Jeremy picked this up before a trip to the mountains.
Family Game Night: Shut the Box
Recently Jeremy and I had a cookout with my parents. When they asked us if we wanted to play a board game I said, “Of course!” Jeremy was a little more nervous since he knows we are competitive to the point of bad sportsmanship.
My dad proudly set up Shut the Box on the kitchen table, telling us how he found it in a Facebook group about Key West events.

Arkham Horror LCG: Top 10 Base Rogue Cards
Wendy here with another top 10 list, this time looking at Top 10 Level Zero Rogue cards. Wendy here with another Top 10 list, this time looking at Level Zero Neutral cards. Neutral cards are awesome at supplementing your deck with items that your class does not necessarily have strengths in.
Arkham Horror LCG: Organization and Game Upgrades
We play a lot of Arkham Horror LCG and will continue to until Frosthaven takes over as our campaign game for a while. We obviously enjoy playing and have a few upgrades that make playing easier. Today I am highlighting the ones we currently use.
Concept Art Spotlight: Revolutionary Etchings
Jeremy has been working on the artwork for our games and I hate that I cannot share all of it with you. We will be sharing them soon enough, but in the meantime I wanted to share some concept art he created for me to help motivate me through some frustratingly sluggish creative blocks.
Fantasy Forest Retrospective
Fantasy Forest, circa 1982 was produced by TSR, later purchased by Wizards of the Coast. I like to think of this game as a gateway drug for DnD. I was hooked from our first play through.
